A determined second half fight back by rival Hekari United FC, saw them taking home the 1st OFC National Play Off, by 2-1.
Lae City FC had the upper hand and going into the break 0-1, but could not hold on in the second half as Hekari displayed mammoth pressure to claim the win.
We now look forward for the final play off this coming Saturday 18th February 2023, in Port Moresby.

And to our fans who are wondering why Obert Bika, did not take the field, we were gutted 2 hours before the match by a “OFC BLUNDER”. We were advised not to play Obert due to a Red Card he received in 2017. This is after 5 years and OFC dug up this rubbish. Very interesting indeed.
